Meet the Partner: Tampa Esports

This week, we meet with James, from Tampa Bay, FL in the USA. He founded an esports organization that keeps growing, and joined the ranks of Toornament Partners a while back:

To start, please introduce yourself and your project

I am the founder of Tampa eSports, we host offline LAN tournaments here in Tampa Bay, Florida for the past 5 years. Our events have grown to about 200 PC’s / 300+ attendees over the weekend, and we’re adding in consoles etc. We are just now working Online tournaments into our equation as qualifiers for future offline events etc, which will be hosted on Toornament.

How did you discover Toornament?

We discovered Toornament through a CS:GO partner we worked with, because of the integration with eBot. The platform is very clean and intuitive which allows us to spend less time managing players and more time managing our events.

What feature(s) do you like the most on Toornament?

Our favorite feature is by far the eBot integration as it allows us to streamline our event (16-24 teams on LAN) tremendously.

Anything you want to add?

I just want to thank you all at Toornament for the great platform, and everyone else for supporting eSports the way they have in the past few years especially. It makes all the countless hours worthwhile to see something that we’ve treated as a passion project bloom into such a “main stream” industry that gives life to an entire new world of possibilities. Thank you.

Thank you James for your time and keep up the great work! To learn more about the Toornament Partnership Program, head HERE!

Let Toornament automatically accept registrations in your tournament

You are organizing a tournament, open to all? You don’t want to have to manually accept registrations, and let the system handle that part? It is now possible on Toornament thanks to a new option available in the Registration Settings menu:

This option will automatically validate all registrations in your tournament, in order of creation date, and up to the tournament size limit. Future participants will have the very same experience, it’s just that the validation of their registration (and the email that comes with it) will arrive immediately, instead of after a manual action from you.

If you wish to learn more about the specifics of this new feature, how it works and behaves in certain situations:
